Heres a kool 80s Ibanez redone with new pups(Duncans),new hardware, pickguard and paint.Tone pot splits the pups in all 3 positions that the switch moves.2 years in the making.Scalloped last few frets too.

That is unique and cool. Does having the upper frets scallopped help with playability?

Where did you get the neck? and the idea for the scallops?

The neck and body stayed together from the start. The guy that did all the work scalloped the frets himself as well as the refret. The scalloping takes a little getting used to and it helps getting under the strings for bends.
Im pretty sure the guitar is an RG 440 from the 80s.It was red and he removed the old paint and some kind of gel from the body that held back alot of the tone. He also told me that it was routed for some other pickup config.
The Duncans are a Pearly gates in the neck and Duncan distortion in the bridge.
It aint no Wolfie but I think its kool Cool

Me like.

That Pearly Gate should help you get a cool ZZTop type sound.
