New to the boards. What's up! Here's a sound clip of my old band playing Hot for Teacher. I used a 100 watt Super Lead on this one. Let me know what you think.

Hot for Teacher

Jesus dude, you've damn well got Eddie pegged. Have you ever recorded anything off Balance, or am I the only person on this board that likes balance? You rule man!

I love especially playin' along to Hot for Teacher, and Jump as they've great rhythm and brilliant guitar solo's, like every other Van Halen song, lol. Maybe if I get my version of Hot For Teacher recorded, I'll post it up. Wink

Hey thanks man. I listened to your clip and i personally thought the tone was great! Very close imo. Only thing was i thought it sounded like you recorded it with the mic slightly away from your amp or something, kinda had a distant sound to it, not really sure though. It might just be because it had no effects on it.

Vholic-

Is that a straight SLP or are you using a Hotplate to get the volume down but still crank the amp.

Hey Ned. No Hotplate, just the amp cranked and a Variac to get the volume down.
