Is it buzzing with an open string? or just when you fret it?

For the most part, changing relief isn't going to affect this. It sounds to me like your neck wood has expandd a little bit or your 12 fret has worked up a just a little.

I'm assuming you know about oiling and cleaning these necks so I won't go into that other than to say this process helps to keep the neck from expanding and contracting so much.

You may want to just take it to a guitar tech. They could push the fret back down or at worst dress your frets so they'll all be the right height.

good luck
