I like the clips! It's obviously not a perfect copy of the original tone, but I'm very surprised you can get that close to the VH1 kind of sound with a 5150! Shocked

I will have to pick up one someday.

Those are pretty close. Can't wait to get home from work and check them out on real speakers.

Any chance you could add those settings to the database on the main site?

No, at Wolfgangregistry.com

There is a page to record the settings of your 5150 and describe the sound/tone.

It's located here:

http://www.wolfgangregistry.com/5150_settings.html

Use the drop down to select the appropriate amp. The 5150 and 5150 Combo setting are currently the same. That needs to be fixed.

Hi Guys,

I just recieved my 5150 combo. It has new pre and power tubes (Tung-Sol 12ax7's and Svetlana 6l6). I am not sure how you guys are dialing in those tones. I can't even get close. I also tried the link that will let me see the settings VHolic used. The link is down. If you could please post your settings for me in this thread. I would completely appreciate it as I would like to see if I can even get a sound resembling that. I am starting to wonder if my amp is broken as the EQ is not very responsive. Neither is the presence or bright on the rythm channel.

Thanks

PS are you running anything else through the amp and are those tones when using the 4x12 with greenbacks?
