Hello

I have a 2002 Peavey Wolfgang Standard Deluxe. I noticed that it is not a full floating bridge. The bridge will not go backwards. There is a peice of wood preventing it from going backwards. Is this normal?

Do you know why Eddie wanted it that way?

Do any of the Wolfgang Standard Deluxe's have full floating bridges?

Thank you

No Wolfgang or any other EVH model guitar has a floating bridge, they are all dive only. This is so Ed can rest his hand on the bridge without throwing off the tuning.

The d-tuner doesn't work with a floating bridge. The bridge must be locked for dive only for the d-tuner to work. I don't know about the "Ed's hand resting on the bridge" thing because all guitar players do that whether the bridge floats or not. I know this because I had a d-tuner added to an Ibanez several years ago and the tech had to lock the bridge for it to work.
