Will the new EVH pickups fit without issues in a Peavey USA special?

They should, most pickup screw holes are the same. I couldn't see much of a problem switching. Man , not too many people post here do they?

Hi guys, I'm new and I'm here.

I brought a second hand Peavey Wolfgang Special (stop tail) in black, end of Feb this year. I've been waiting for one for a long time. I paid $800 New Zealand for it - so it wasnt cheap....

I've not left it alone since! I had to spend a bit of time cleaning up the fingerboard - its was dirty as hell. In the end I had to sand it, the
alcahol and Lemon oil didnt do much.

I play it thru a Vox vt 50 on the US 90's setting (its based on the 6150) and it suits me really well. Two days ago I brought the EVH wah pedal and its magic too, never used a wah before and it adds a different dimension.

I'm getting close to the "brown sound".

All the best from New Zealand
