I have a Peavey Wolfgang Special and need to replace the nut. I understand that it's 1⅝", which seems to also be a 42MM part. But on the website for the new EVH Specials, they have 1⅝" and 41MM. Obviously, I'm going to measure the one I have before I replace it, but has anyone else come across this discrepancy? Is there a website that's a good clearinghouse for this kind of info? (The specs on this site are great but I'd like a bit more detail.)

Also, when replacing the nut, will it be necessary to adjust the intonation?
